The
Selk’Bag is a revolutionary designer sleeping bag that you wear, with
separate arms and legs, allowing the wearer full freedom of movement.
Get in, zip up, and you won't fear the cold! The selk'bag covers your whole body in a single- or double-insulated super-cozy blanket of warmth, while solving the problem of moving around - you're still free to roll, sit, stand, or even do the conga!
Your hands can be freed by unzipping them from the inside as well as out, making playing on your Wii or scratching your nose just as easy as usual.
Out and about and feeling tired? Just plop down on the ground and drift off...
Inspired by the Selk'nam (nomads) of yore, Rodrigo Alonso of the Chilean company Musuc has taken all the best ideas in sleeping bag design, and removed all the bad - creating an unbelievably comfortable, cool (but very warm!) wearable garment.
Selk-bags come in two sizes, S/M or L/XL, and three levels of warmth. Level 1 is for camping and every day use, whereas Level 3 is the premium edition for maximum comfort, rated with an extreme temperature limit of -10°C!
For size, if you're around 5'10"/178cm (like me) or under, the S/M seems to fit well, taller people should probably go for the L/XL.
